No. Cesium runs without an install. It uses HTML5 standards, namely WebGL, that are natively supported by browsers.
Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 11 are supported and tested with every release. Safari and Opera both work as well, but are not as actively tested.
Cesium runs on any platform with a WebGL capable browser, including Windows, Linux, OS X, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.
Cesium works on any video card that supports WebGL (and OpenGL, meaning you need 3D support). This includes almost all NVIDIA and AMD cards made since 2004 as well as recent Intel video cards.
